LAUNDRY

The Laundry Room is located on the 7th floor and is open to Residents 24 hours a day except when otherwise posted. This facility is a privately owned business and is not managed or maintained by the Association. The Management of the Laundry Room can be reached with questions, comments, or suggestions by calling 773-491-5451.

SATELLITE TELEVISION

Basic cable television service is provided on a discounted bulk basis to all units, including one cable box and remote control, all which is paid for through the assessments. Residents can receive the basic cable programming by plugging in their co-axial cable to the wall outlets. To receive the cable box and remote, or to consider premium services such as HBO, residents should contact Prime Time Sports directly at 847-637-3500.

24 HOUR MAINTENANCE AND SECURITY

The Gold Coast Galleria has a full-service maintenance and door staff to respond to the needs of buildings residents, 24 hours a day. The lobby is staffed around the clock with a doorperson who screens individuals entering the building and announces guests. The doorperson also coordinates deliveries and the distribution of packages. Maintenance personnel are present 24 hours a day to complete work orders and to respond to emergencies as necessary. The Building Engineer lives on site to assist in responding to emergencies or other problems that arise and require special attention.

Some in-unit maintenance can be performed by the Association's Maintenance Staff. Just contact the Management Office at 312-482-9793 or click on "Contact" above to send an e-mailed request. Leave your name, phone number, a description of the problem, and permission to enter, and our staff will follow up by addressing the problems or making recommendations to the owner if the issue is outside our ability to provide. Most in-unit maintenance is the responsibility of the individual homeowner, but owners can be charged back for services through their assessments. Maintenence Staff labor costs $40 per hour and parts and materials are charged to the unit owner at cost.

LUGGAGE CARTS

Luggage Carts are available to all residents and are located in the main lobby. The Association provides carts to enable residents to transport large or numerous parcels and deliveries to their units. They may not be used to transport furniture, construction materials, or for moving in and out. To check out a luggage cart just stop by the doorman station. We ask that for everyone's mutual convenience, please return carts to the lobby immediately after use.

DRY CLEANERS

Paramount Cleaners is located on the 1st floor in the Service Area, directly across from the rear entrance of the Freight Elevator.  They prrovide dry cleaning, repairs and alterations, and a variety of other textile services. Also available is sameday laundry, pick-up, and delivery services. Paramount Cleaners' dry cleaning professional, Young Kim, can be reached during hours of operation 7:30am-6:30pm Monday through Saturday, at (312) 642-7747.

SUN DECK

The Sun Deck is located on the 8th floor at the South end of the building. It is available to all residents from 8:00am until sunset daily, except during cold winter months. The Sun Deck is for the exclusive use of Unit Owners, Residents, and their Guests. Pets are not allowed. Furniture purchased and maintained by the Association is placed on the deck during warm months, usually between late May and late September.

At least twice a year, the Board of Directors has budgeted for social activities to be held on the sundeck. This usually includes a barbecue, drinks, and music. 

MULTIPLEX HEALTH CLUB

The Gold Coast Multiplex offers a full workout and spa facility, located on the commercial side of the building at 1030 North Clark. Membership fee discount rates are offered for Residents of the Gold Coast Galleria. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 5:00am-10:30pm, Saturday 7:00am-8:00pm, and Sunday 8:00am-8:00pm. For further information please contact (312) 944-1030.
